Overview
CouponBirds "Help to Save" Scholarship supports high school and college students by easing financial burdens and empowering them to pursue higher education. Since 2017, we have awarded 23 students scholarships totaling $30,000+.
This year's theme — 'Budgeting for Big Dreams': How you save toward long-term goals like college/university, study abroad, starting a business, or grad school?

Awards
We're awarding a total of $3,000 in scholarships to three deserving students:
First Prize: $1,500 (awarded to one student)
Second Prize: $1,000 (awarded to one student)
Third Prize: $500 (awarded to one student)
Scholarship funds can be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies, equipment, or any other educational expenses related to your courses.
Eligibility
High school students (15+ years old)
College students (18+ years old)
Requirements:
Be enrolled in an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution
Proof of enrollment (enrollment verification, acceptance letter, or transcript)
Video must be in English

What We're Looking For
A panel of judges will select three winners based on:
Quality of your submission (30%): Clear, complete application and a well-presented video.
Creativity of ideas (40%). This evaluates the creativity, practicality, and benefit of the ideas shared in your video for students and others.
Engagement (30%). The number of views, likes, and comments on your video and social media post.

Who is eligible to apply?
Students aged 15 or older who are enrolled in (or accepted to) an accredited high school, college, or university in the U.S. or Canada are welcome to apply.
I am an international student. Am I eligible to apply for your scholarship?
Absolutely! The scholarship is open to students of all nationalities who are currently enrolled in or accepted to an accredited institution in the US or Canada.
I'm a graduate student who hasn't received my acceptance letter yet. Can I still apply?
Yes, you can still apply! You can upload another document like a transcript as proof of enrollment. If selected, we'll confirm your admission details later.
What documents can I upload as proof of enrollment?
We accept any of the following: an enrollment certificate, an acceptance letter, or a transcript (from high school or college).
Do my YouTube and social media accounts need to be public?
Yes. To ensure fairness, all entries must be reviewed under the same conditions. Private posts cannot be verified or scored. All submitted content must be publicly accessible so our judges can review entries fairly and consistently.
The application deadline has passed. Can I still apply?
Unfortunately, no. You'll need to wait for the next application cycle. Please check our official scholarship page regularly for updates on future opportunities.
When will scholarship results be announced?
Results are announced by late October. We will notify the potential winners by email at the address provided in their application.
Winners must reply within 7 business days to acknowledge the recipient, otherwise the scholarship may be forfeited and awarded to another applicant.
How will my personal information be used?
We value your privacy. Your information is used only to verify eligibility, review your submission, and contact winners. We do not sell or share applicant data with third parties.
If selected as a winner, your name and photos may be featured on our website and in official announcements.

By applying, you authorize us to use your video for scholarship-related promotional purposes.
Only one submission per person/email is allowed. Duplicate or spam entries will be disqualified.
All submissions must follow local laws and must not include unlawful or inappropriate content.
The scholarship is subject to applicable laws and is void where prohibited.
